Current Sunday Series

Leading up to Easter Sunday we are going to talk about Eternal Life. The notion that there is a kind of life that is unable to be taken or destroyed, and is never ending has always intrigued humanity. Also, the reality of death is uniquely painful and offensive. At the heart of the good news of God, is that Jesus IS the resurrection and the life. It’s in Jesus (and his resurrection) that we are shown the promise, proof and experience of eternal life.

What to Expect

We meet together on Sunday mornings at 10am. There is no need to dress up; please be comfortable in your normal weekend clothes. You can help yourself to donuts, fruit, coffee, and tea in the lobby as you make your way in.

We’ll begin service right around 10am. First, we’ll all stand and spend 15-20 minutes worshipping, led by the band. Then, one of our leaders will welcome you and have a few announcements. After a brief break for you to refill your coffee or grab a snack, Zach (our lead pastor) will teach us from the Bible. Lastly, we’ll end the service by giving everyone an opportunity to have someone pray for them.

In total, you can expect the service to last about an hour and fifteen minutes. Once service ends, please feel free to hang out and meet people afterwards. We would definitely like to meet you!

We have small groups that meet mid-week through-out the NRV.

Youth

Ascent Youth is for 5th grade – High School students.

Kids

Ascent Kids is available during our Sunday Service for Newborns – 4th grade.
